Admission Procedure

GENERAL GUIDELINES:

  1. Candidates are required to read the prospectus carefully before filling up the Application form.
  2. Candidates having minimum marks as mentioned in the prospectus, will be considered for admission on merit basis.
  3. The applicant desiring to apply in more than one course shall submit his/her preference in the same application form.
  4. The candidates who have appeared in the qualifying examination but whose results have not been declared may also apply for admission. But they need to submit their results before admission.

PICK OUR APPLICATION FORM :

  1. Candidates seeking admission to any course during the academic session 2019-2020 may obtain the application form along with the prospectus from the Counter of Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya, Nasatra, Barpeta, Assam on cash payment of 300/- only.
  2. The application form may also be downloaded form the University’s official website: www.kav.ac.in and need to be submitted along with the prescribed fee of 300/- only. In such case the prospectus can be collected during the submission of the form.
  3. No other fees is required to be submitted at the time of submission of the application form.

SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION FORM :

  1. The filled-up application form should be submitted to the Office of the Registrar on or before last date of submission of application form. Application forms will be accepted between 9:30 am to 5:00 pm (except lunch hours) in all working days. The University remains closed on Tuesday.
  2. The application fee is non-refundable and no correspondence on this subject will be entertained.
  3. Three recent (passport size) coloured photographs should be affixed on the application form. Photographs are to be pasted with gums and should not be stapled or pinned. Application form with different photographs are liable to be rejected.
  4. Candidates are required to fill the application form with BLACK ink in his/her own handwriting.
  5. Application forms must be filled in and duly signed by the applicant. Incomplete application forms shall be summarily rejected.
  6. The last dates of submission of application forms for each of the courses will be notified from time to time in the Notice Board and in University’s Website www.kav.ac.in

MODE OF SELECTION :

Admissions will be based on Merit (percentage secured in the last qualifying examination) and personal interview.
