Vice-Chancellor’s Message

Jai Krishnaguru

Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya was established in 2017 with a unique mission to provide education that blends academic rigor with spiritual growth. I believe that knowledge without wisdom is incomplete and therefore, we encourage our students to embrace learning that nurtures both intellect and character.

It is my pleasure to assert that this is the only University in India, where spiritualism is encompassed in University education what has been considered exceedingly important in today’s context of the society. The institution is dedicated to promote holistic education that integrates spiritual values with modern scientific thoughts. It aims to cultivate intellectual growth while fostering spiritual well-being among the students.

I am confident that with our commitment to academic rigor, a nurturing environment, and a focus on cutting-edge knowledge, Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya will not only achieve this ambitious goal but will also set a benchmark for other institutions to follow. Our focus on holistic development, value-based education and global outreach will undoubtedly pave the way for continued success.

Together, we will build a future where Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya is recognized worldwide for its contributions to society, its academic achievements and its innovative spirit and spiritualism Let us continue to aspire for greatness and strive towards a brighter future for all. Hope, Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya will be an exemplary one to be followed by all other educational institutions in India.

Spiritual education in educational institutions and overall in educational ecosystem is pivotal for nurturing a balanced, value-based, and meaningful life for students.

It supports the overall development of students by nurturing their emotional, social, and spiritual well-being in addition to their academic skills. This leads to the creation of balanced individuals who are equipped to handle life’s challenges. Also, it helps instill strong moral values, such as integrity, honesty, empathy, and respect for others. These values become the guiding principles that shape students’ behavior and decision-making throughout their lives.

Spiritual education introduces practices like mindfulness, meditation, and self-reflection, which can reduce stress, anxiety, and emotional turbulence. This contributes to a positive mental state and emotional resilience.

It fosters an attitude of acceptance, respect, and appreciation for diverse beliefs, cultures, and perspectives. This is particularly important in today’s globalized world, where students need to function harmoniously in multicultural settings.

Moreover, spiritual education encourages self-reflection and introspection, helping students gain a deeper understanding of themselves and the world around them. It helps students develop a sense of purpose and direction, motivating them to pursue goals that align with their inner values and passions. This leads to a more fulfilled and meaningful life.

  • By teaching, values like responsibility, humility and service to others, spiritual education prepares students to become ethical leaders who prioritize the greater good over self-interest.
  • Students who receive spiritual education are more likely to exhibit positive behavior and are less prone to engage in harmful activities like substance abuse, bullying or violence. It instills a sense of discipline and responsibility.
  • Spiritual practices like meditation can improve focus, memory and concentration, contributing to better academic performance. Spiritual education nurtures compassion, kindness, and a sense of social responsibility, encouraging students to contribute positively to society. It motivates them to engage in community service and altruistic activities.

Let me express my unbounded happiness over the role of the His Excellency Honourable Chancellor Sjt. Harish Ch. Goswami (the most respected Gurukrishna Premananda Prabhu) and the most revered Chairperson of the Krishnaguru Shiksha Parishad,, Bhakti-Matri Aai Mrs. Kuntala Patowary Goswami as well as different stakeholders of our esteemed University including Krishnaguru Siksha Parishad , Government of Assam and Govt. of India in supporting throughout the journey ahead.
