To celebrate the birth anniversary of former statesman and prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the Political Science department of Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya (KAV) has scheduled a one-day online lecture program on “THE CONCEPT OF GOOD GOVERNANCE AND ITS RELEVANCE IN INDIA” on December 25, 2024, in honour of “Good Governance Day.” The honored speaker was renowned figure Prof. Dhruba Pratim Sarma, who is currently a professor at Department of Political Science, Gauhati University. All faculty members of the department, students along with selected PhD scholars joined in the seminar through online as well as offline mode. The distinguished speaker highlighted about the values and ethics of good governance and its relation with the administration. It was initiated by the welcoming speech by Dronali Talukdar, Assistant Professor and Head of the Department, Department of Political Science, Krishnaguru Adhyatmik Visvavidyalaya and the vote of thanks was given by Jagamuhan Kalita, Assistant Professor of the department.
